Wild’s Boudreau records 500th career win

A 4-1 victory over the Nashville Predators on Saturday marked the 500th career win for Minnesota Wild bench boss Bruce Boudreau.

Boudreau became the second-fastest coach to reach the impressive plateau, trailing only the legendary Scotty Bowman.

The 63-year-old made his NHL coaching debut in 2007, and has put up remarkable showings across three stops:

Team Seasons Wins Losses OTL
Capitals 2007-11 201 88 40
Ducks 2011-2016 208 104 40
Wild 2016- 91 49 16
