Canucks acquire future considerations
Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Canucks General Manager Jim Benning announced today that the Canucks have traded forward Dane Fox to Carolina for future considerations.

I am surprised the Canucks gave up on Dane Fox so quickly. Only last year we heard about how talented this young guy is… then in the same season we trade him for basically nothing. Dane Fox has the ability to put up points, so getting rid of a player like that when we are in the middle of a youth movement is somewhat puzzling to me. Good luck Dane!
