The 2025-26 season will be a big one for the Minnesota Wild youngsters. Guys like David Jiricek, Danila Yurov, Liam Ohgren, and Zeev Buium will all be a big part of the upcoming season's success.

It looks like Ohgren has taken that to heart with some of his offseason training. The NHL released a photo of Ohgren in the weight room and you can tell he has put on some serious muscle.

The Swedish forward's father is Andreas Ohgren. He is a hockey coach and trainer who has trained several elite Swedish NHL players. Ohgren clearly has been training with him this offseason.

Ohgren, 21, recorded two goals and five points in 24 games for the Wild during the 2024-25 season. He recorded 19 goals, 18 assists, and 37 points in 41 games for the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL) as well.

The Wild's 19th overall pick from the 2022 NHL Draft will be a big part of the Wild this upcoming season. He has 28 career NHL games under his belt in parts of two seasons. Yurov was drafted five picks after Ohgren and will join the Wild for the upcoming season.

It will be a big year for the two and Ohgren looks like he's ready for it.
