In the middle of a game? No problem for the Colorado Avalanche!

In the wake of the NHL trade deadline, the Islanders have parted ways with one of their most recognizable players, trading Brock Nelson to the Colorado Avalanche.

Nashville, TN - Mikey Eyssimont scored in the third period of his Seattle Kraken debut after being traded from Tampa Bay on Wednesday for Yanni Gourde and Oliver Bjorkstrand. Eyssimont's goal was assisted by Adam Larsson and Jared McCann.

The NHL Trade Deadline is Friday at 3:00 p.m. ET. It's also the last day for players to be placed on waivers and have a chance to play out the remainder of the 2024-25 season.

The Pittsburgh Penguins were busy on Wednesday, making two trades: sending Michael Bunting to the Nashville Predators and swapping Vincent Desharnais to the San Jose Sharks.
