Hanifin, Michigan trio among 12 added to U.S. World Championship team

Auston Matthews has some company on USA's World Championship roster.

The consensus No. 1 draft prospect, the lone player initially named to the roster, now has 12 teammates, as announced Tuesday by USA Hockey.

Goalie

John Hynes will serve as head coach, with the tournament set to begin May 6 in Moscow and St. Petersburg, Russia.
