NHL world reacts to Mayweather-McGregor

The fight of the century finally concluded on Saturday night.

Floyd Mayweather improved to 50-0 with a 10th round TKO over Connor McGregor in a heated bout that had the entire sports community glued to their TVs.

Of course that includes NHLers, as many were clearly dialed in, providing commentary and their opinions on the historic fight.

Anthony Stewart noticed some similarities between the lucrative bout and a rather embarrassing Alexander Semin fight.

Wayne Simmonds clearly wasn't thrilled how the fight ended.

Meanwhile, several NHLers loved to see the respect Mayweather and McGregor showed for one another at the end of the 10-round bou

Stewart later channeled The Rock addressing those who believed the fight was stopped too soon.

Eric Gryba might be part of that camp, but he enjoyed the spectacle nonetheless.

As for Brent Burns and Joe Thornton, the San Jose Sharks duo got to take in the fight in person.

Evander Kane credited McGregor for making the fight worth watching.

Then there was Jason Demers, who was apparently entertained for a completely different reason.
