Golden Knights’ Marchessault, Smith, Fleury hit milestones in Game 2

The Vegas Golden Knights made some noise on the ice and in the record books Monday night.

The club defeated the Winnipeg Jets 3-1 to tie the series at one game apiece and in doing so, Jonathan Marchessault, Reilly Smith, and Marc-Andre Fleury hit several milestones.

  • With two goals, Marchessault tied the NHL record for most points in a single postseason by a player on an expansion team.
  • Smith picked up two assists to equal the NHL record for most assists by a player on a team in its first-ever postseason.
  • Fleury recorded his 71st career playoff win to tie Jacques Plante for ninth on the NHL's all-time playoff wins list.

The series will now shift to Vegas where the trio will look to further pad their stats.
