Monahan shut down for season, will have another hip surgery

Calgary Flames forward Sean Monahan will undergo season-ending surgery on his hip and is being placed on LTIR, the team announced Saturday.

This surgery is on the opposite hip of the one he had repaired last summer, according to Postmedia's Wes Gilbertson.
