Canadiens’ Caufield suffers upper-body injury in win over Flames

Montreal Canadiens forward Cole Caufield didn't return in Monday's 2-1 shootout win against the Calgary Flames after sustaining an upper-body injury in the second period.

The Canadiens' young star suffered the ailment in a collision with Trevor Lewis.

The referees didn't assess a penalty on the play.

Caufield has scored 16 goals and 25 points through 27 games this season. He leads Montreal in goals and ranks second in points behind Nick Suzuki.
