Flyers’ Farabee ejected for high hit on Jets’ Perreault

Philadelphia Flyers forward Joel Farabee was tossed from Sunday's game against the Winnipeg Jets for a questionable check on Mathieu Perreault.

Officials assessed Farabee a five-minute interference major and a game misconduct after he caught Perreault up high behind the play midway through the second period.

Jets players Andrew Copp and Nathan Beaulieu helped Perreault off the ice.

Winnipeg scored twice on the ensuing power play and tallied another goal 32 seconds after the man advantage concluded.
